In my years mountaineering and adventuring I have carried many sleeping bags. And I am always looking for the bag that does well in all conditions, whether I would be bike touring, summer backpacking, winter camping or scaling some north faces in the Alps. Never found that bag until now. The only drawback I had with this bag initially was to get the pad into the sleeve in a really tight bivac space during a climb in the Alps. But I figured out it is possible to leave an Exped Downmat in the sleeve even though this sleeping bag requires a mummy pad and the Exped mats are rectangle. But just roll it up and compress it length wise to fit in the bottom of the backpack. Just pull it out, inflate the mat, and sleep. One of the best sleepingbags I have owned so far.

I used this bag on a trans-sierra hike..56 miles. It was the lightest 0 deg bag I could find. I have spent multiple nights snow camping in the Sierras (6,000ft elev.). I love this bag! I have never had a sleeping that has kept me as warm and comfortable. I look forward to getting into the bag every night. A Big Agnes mummy bag pad is recommended, however I stuff an insulated regular pad in and it works just fine. Small amounts of air creep in through the zipper...I've never had a sleeping bag that didn't have that issue.

I've used this bag down into the single digits farenheit and have been comfortable. I paired it with an Exped Downmat9 with a small piece of blue foam under the hip area(I have bony hips). I was wearing just a light baselayer and a very thin, fleece, hooded top, wool socks. I went for a 2 hour fat bike ride before stomping out my bivy, so had worked up some body heat and a little bit of sweat.

The little bit of moisture that collected in the bag around the head opening dried quickly in the sun.

It's not super roomy, but roomy enough to keep some gear/food inside with you.

The stiff fabric along the path of the zipper is a very nice touch and makes this the easiest opening/closing sleeping bag I've ever had.

The pillow pocket is a little awkward, or I just haven't figured out how to use it properly yet. With the pocket flipped down I'm either breathing into the fabric of the bag, or the pillow is just under my neck. If it's flipped up it takes up the entire hood. I ended up just putting the pillow outside the bag, under the hood.
