    The Nite Ize 1-Watt LED Upgrade II with IQ Switch combo kit upgrades your AA Mini Maglite flashlight, giving it 3 brightness levels, 2 strobes and convenient push-button control.

    • Upgrade kit replaces the incandescent bulb of an AA Mini Maglite flashlight and adds a push-button on/off switch to the tail cap

    Comments about Nite Ize 1-Watt LED Upgrade II with IQ Switch Combo Kit - AA Mini Maglite:

    I bought the LED upgrade kit because I (obviously) already had the AA Mini Mag with the incandescent bulb. Other than terrible light output, there was nothing wrong with my old flashlight. However, I felt bad throwing the old light in the trash when it just needed a simple upgrade.

    My problem is that this "upgrade" costs the same as buying a brand new AA LED Maglite and the new Maglite is brighter (+10 lumens). This upgrade is priced within a few dollars of the new Maglite XL series which are significantly brighter, more compact and better featured.

    I feel better reusing an existing product but I think this should cost 1/2 what it does. There's certainly no added value, IMO.
