Comments about Kuhl Renegade Pants - Men's 34" Inseam:
Only have had these pants a couple weeks but wanted to write a review for would-be buyers as I would have appriciated one. These pants are a soft-shell type pants, extremely lightweight and stretchy (but not tight). Water resistant and dry fast. Not too sure about the strength or durability of this fabric, as it is so light it's hard to imagine that it could withstand some serious bushwacking without tearing, but we'll see. Pockets are too small, and not very well placed. 2 front zip pockets on the thigh? What are you thinking Kuhl? What are people supposed to put into these tiny pockets and still wear the pants? A tissue maybe. Cell phone pocket holds a 12oz can of beer perfectly. Cell phone too, suprisingly. Thought it might be too bagy/large but cell phone stays secure. A large pocket on the side of the hip/back of the leg would be nice. Fit is good standing up and crouching down, which is rare to find and welcome (probably the best fitting pants I've ever worn.) Wife says that the tappering of the leg-cut looks a little wierd with anything but tennis shoes, but I can deal with it.

Comments about Kuhl Renegade Pants - Men's 34" Inseam:
Problem is, I NEVER want to wear ANY other pants, not out to dinner, to church. LOL Sad thing, I am serious! They are so comfortable, I may try them as PJs tonight, never thought of that until now. But as others have commented, it could use more pockets!! Also, it would be GREAT if they had zip offs, to change to shorts for the day.
I HAVE to comment on the "smartphone" pocket. As an iPhone 4 owner, I am obviously worried about the safety of my phone (which I use as GPS/trail camera), this pocket is PERFECT for it! Easy access, but NEVER falls out. I haven't tried hanging upside down tho;)

Comments about Kuhl Renegade Pants - Men's 34" Inseam:
Just finished a hike to Mauna Loa in Hawaii. They held up great when hiking and sitting on the volcanic rock. There are 4 pockets in the front and 3 in the back, which is plenty for me. Stretchy and light. I can do a mean Kung-Fu kick in em.

Comments about Kuhl Renegade Pants - Men's 34" Inseam:
I had originally bought a pair of cargo pants from REI and was returning them (I just can't wear cargo's) when I happened upon this brand. I'm a convert. These pants fit great and, if you are tall and slim (I'm 6'-6", 210 lbs), you'll be happy to know that the 34" inseam is plenty long. They have a much more modern look than a lot of outdoor pants and I really like the philosophy of the company. I intend to order more in the other models.
