I have used these gloves now for about 10 months and over 1200 miles of riding in Texas heat over the hot summer, on both legs of the BPMS150 from Houston to Austin and in training rides leading up to it. They work as good as the day I bought them and the wear can only be detected my some slight fraying at the ends of the cut off fingers. I discovered you can also wash them on gentle with other cycling equipment (hang to dry) so that they even look new. You will want to do this with heavy use as they started to get very aromatic. Just remember they aren't meant for cold riding - i bought a pair of glove liners to wear under them - they weren't quite heavy enough so my thumbs got very cold in the early morning 40 degree temperatures riding at 20 mph. Be careful to check sizing on them too. I normally wear an XL glove, but the Large in this model was a perfect fit. Heading to REI to buy a second pair next week during the member sale starting on October 31.

Comments about Pearl Izumi Select Gel Bike Gloves - Men's:

Great design and fit. Breathable material on the top feels great and lets your skin breathe pretty well. My bike lacks shocks and after riding my hands and sometimes shoulders would be pretty sore. These have padding in all the right spots without feeling heavy. The packaging listed a few pressure points and nerve endings that it protects and I'd have to say it does just that. There's also a small loop on the ring finger of each glove that gives you a good pull point to get them off without having to work too hard. It's a nice feature and it's almost invisible. The fastner uses a loop and hook that isn't scratchy at all. The styling looks great to top it all off. I just got them recently, so I can't comment on durability.
