I was so excited for this skirt based on the reviews and this is way more than I would usually pay for a skirt but it was one of the most unflattering skirts I have ever tried on. Size M and it made my hips look huge. I am pretty fit 5'7, 140 ish pounds with curves. Agree with the other reviewer maybe this would be good for a straight figure but it was bad on me.

This skirt looked great in the pictures and I thought it would be perfect for my upcoming trip to Europe. I ordered it along with the Patagonia Lithia skirt, but ended up running into the same fit problems with both. This skirt arrived and appeared more gray than black. This wasn't really a big deal, but I prefer a true black skirt. It fit perfectly on the waist, but seemed to cling to my larger thighs in an unflattering way. I think it would be more suited for women with longer/straighter figures. Ultimately, I like the simple style in principle, but a looser-looking skirt that somehow still clings to the thighs isn't worth the pretty high price tag. I ended up returning the skirt and finding a much cheaper and more flattering version elsewhere.

I'm pretty classic in style - I like skirts with tops & cardigans. I like looks that can take me place to place, from work to time with friends to dates with my fella, and even better if I can get there by bussing or biking.

This skirt is so frickin' comfortable. I wear it over some leggings, add a cute top, and I can hop on my bike and head all over town.

Dries fast, has held up to several washings... and I just bought a second one. At full price. This is not like me.

This skirt is the best thing since sliced bread! I don't wear skirts often, but I would wear this almost every day! It is so comfortable! This skirt is loose enough to cover everything and hide my imperfections, but "twirly" enough to satisfy my feminine side. I am 5'1" and 125 lbs, and the small fits me perfectly! There was only one color online, but if it came in more colors, I would buy them in a heartbeat!

SUPER comfortable! I live in Sub Saharan Africa and need skirts that hit the knee - this does the job and looks great. Nice built in pocket on the waist band. I'm a little worried about how long the material will last (in all fairness it probably will stand up better to western laundry than super harsh Ugandan detergents) but overall I love this skirt after a few months of tough use. If the material gives out, I'd buy a replacement without thinking twice.

I just bought this skirt for a 2-month trip in Southeast Asia, and I can already tell it's going to be a real winner!

*First, it's ridiculously comfortable.. this fabric feels luxurious. Also, even though it's not technically labeled as "quick-dry", I can tell that it will probably dry fairly fast, which is what I'm looking for on this trip.
*Second, the skirt looks great! It's way cute. I bought the black color so it will hide dirt, but I also tried the pink color in the store and it's beautiful. I might buy it, actually....
*Finally, I'll just reiterate that it's perfect for travel. It's lightweight, wrinkle-resistant, and hits just above the knee, so it should be appropriate for more culturally conservative destinations. Can be dressed up or down. Plus, the gathered waist will help hide my money belt.

I was a little hesitant to buy what looks like a very simple skirt for a relatively high price, but I have no regrets! This baby's made to last.
