If I had to own a single pair of shorts these would be it. I use them for biking, hiking, and casual wear. The fit is a bit tight, but that's exactly how I like them. These are not baggy at all but seem to have a bit of a stretch to them and are very well designed to allow for a huge range of movement.

The extra pocket is great for a cell phone or small gps device and keep things in a nice spot during activity. Overall a great pair of shorts.

I own perhaps 4 pair of Arcteryx shorts. They all rock but this is the only pair with odd large sizing. I wear a 32 in all shorts/pants and in these I bought a 34. They seem big because of it.
