We bought a medium and large Eagle creek Duffel, and there is there a decent difference in size. The medium I would consider for a personal overnight bag. The large is cavernous, and holds 3 sleeping bags with a bit of room to spare. We fit a 2 person inflatable bed in it as well. Great quality, I was impressed.
