        Good quality as to be expected from Eagle Creek products. I like the light weight - a full pound lighter than my more standard 22". It worked especially well with Eagle Creek's packing items (folder and cubes). My one negative has to do with the way it opens. It's a zipper-flap affair that does not open the main compartment completely. If the compartment on the bottom outside of the opening flap has anything in it, it make loading the main compartment really awkward. That is fairly easy to remedy - load that bottom compartment last unless you have a short memory.

        Love this thing except it broke! After 2 years and maybe 25 business trips, the handle suddenly wont retract. Linkage between button on handle and stopping pin broke inside the tube. [...] Other than that it is a perfect, rugged and stylish piece that I live out of on business trips. Compression straps work great to compress and allow easier storage. I would still recommend purchasing one and maybe my problem was just bad luck.

          Perfect carry-on bag. The top tapers, which reduces capacity, but makes it great for stuffing it into the overhead luggage rack. Very rugged, with excellent, built-in compression straps. Be careful to not over-stuff the top of the bag, or the top interior pocket can rip.
