Comments about Therm-a-Rest Trail Pro WR Sleeping Pad - Women's:
I bought this Thermarest for our first backpacking trip in the Rockies. We were amazed by their comfort. We have since used our Thermarests to sit at picnics in the parks, at the beach (always with a towel or blanket under them), and car camping. I usually let it sit for a while unrolled before blowing it up, and store it unrolled. It takes a significant amount of breaths to inflate, but the comfort and low weight are worth it. The material feels durable, and we've had no problems with leaks. I inflate mine as much as I can, then lay on it and let some air out to get it to the right amount of inflation. I've never had issues with the pad slipping around, or me slipping off of it. I sometimes sleep on my stomach, and even using a small Thermarest pillow, half of my feet hang off the end of the pad. I am only 5'3" tall. For that reason, I wish I had bought the men's length. The separately-sold women's stuff sack is actually bigger than the men's, so my husband and I ended up switching stuff sacks--as his never rolled as small as mine.

Comments about Therm-a-Rest Trail Pro WR Sleeping Pad - Women's:
I've used the sleeping pad when sleeping on the ground & in a cot. Both times it has kept me warm (and I'm always cold) while sleeping. It's easy to inflate. Not so easy to get all the air out & fold into the pouch provided. Also, it says that it should be inflated for long term storage. So i had to stand it up in the back of my closet instead of with all my other camping equipment. But it's really not a big deal. I'm really happy with the sleeping pad.

Comments about Therm-a-Rest Trail Pro WR Sleeping Pad - Women's:
I bought this pad to use while hiking the Camino in France and Spain. It packs down very small and compared to my Synmat 9 is very lightweight. It needs time to inflate if it has been tightly rolled for a long period of time. Even though it is very thin it is extremely comfortable.

Comments about Therm-a-Rest Trail Pro WR Sleeping Pad - Women's:
I'm a side sleeper and usually have problems with my hips laying on hard ground since the material can't hold up to the extra weight in the hip area. The Trail-Pro for women is the first sleeping pad that is actually able to give my hips the support they need. I love this sleeping pad. It is very compfortable and warm, not slippery and since it is very light in comparison to other pads it is perfect for backpacking. I know there are lighter pads on the market but often the material is slippery and they make you feel like sleeping on a pastic bag - they are very noisy. The Pro-Trail Women is also awesome when used as a chair with the extra chair set that you can buy for it. The only thing i do not like about the Pro-Trail Women is the bag that comes with it. This bag is far to big if you fold the pad lengthwise half, and it is to small if you keep the pad in the full width.

Comments about Therm-a-Rest Trail Pro WR Sleeping Pad - Women's:
It is to short.
I am 5'5" the pad is 5'6". If I lay flat on my back either my pillow is hanging off the back, or my feet are hanging off the end, luckily I am a side sleeper, but I would prefer another 6 inches. If I ever have to buy a new pad I will buy a men's size, and probably with less foam. This mattress has 2 inches of foam which is just more weight compared to an inch and a half. The comfort level is all relative to how inflated it is. I have laid on my boyfriends pad which is a Therm-a-Rest pro lite plus Large which has one and a half inches of foam (half an inch less than womens trail pro)but is equally as comfortable, and because I have the Z-lite to go under it insulation from the ground is not an issue, and womens sleeping bags have enough insulation in those feet and torso areas to keep the heat in anyways. I have used this pad in just above freezing temperatures (33F) with the Z lite and stayed comfortable all night, so plus points there.

Comments about Therm-a-Rest Trail Pro WR Sleeping Pad - Women's:
This pad is really great! It gives excellent back support, stays warm, and is big enough for any female under 6'.
I have used this pad in rocky and sandy terrane without feeling anything below me. I have a pretty bad back from years of injury, and I woke up feeling like I slept on a normal bed. The heat stays in, which was surprising considering how cold the sand gets at night. The pad didn't slip away, even with a second person in the tent moving around a lot.
The self-inflating goes too slow and doesn't inflate all the way, but a few quick breaths will take care of that. Deflating is an issue due to the self-inflating nature of the pad, but is doable. The stuff sack given with the pad is too large, so a smaller one is needed. The weight is fine if you're willing to carry an extra pound on your back for comfort in sleep.
