I got these shoes to go on an 8 day rafting trip with side hikes. I needed shoes that could be wet yet still comfortable for hiking. I wore them several times prior to the trip to break them in, including getting them wet while wearing them. The second day of the trip I wore them on a hike and they completely tore my feet up. The heel area comes up too high and rubbed huge raw spots on my heels. I stuck with my Keens for the rest of the trip and they were perfectly comfortable in and out of the water. The Tevas went back to REI (thank goodness for their return policy) and I got a pair of Chacos to try instead.

I took these shoes to Costa Rica for ten days and they were great. Good length, EXCELLENT width (I wear nothing but toe socks and was pleased with the amount of toe space I had), and great color. When you get mud and dirt on them you can hardly tell! Super breathable and easy to wear with lots of different clothes. The ONLY thing I could say as far as constructive criticism is that they are a little bit of work to get on your foot as the heel is also made of mesh (don't worry though, it has a shock absorber pad to protect your foot). Go Teva!

I have been mostly biking and hiking with these shoes. They are very lightweight and breathable. I really enjoy wearing them as much as possible. What I also like about them is that they don't look very dorky, but are quite stylish (for Santa Cruz). I love these shoes and I am planning on getting a second pair.
One thing you might want to think about first when looking at these shoes is the top of your foot. My mom has a high bone structure on the top of her foot so shoes like these that are slip on and don't lace up, are very tight and uncomfortable.

Haven't had these too long, but they are great. I usually wear a 7 and had to buy a 7 1/2 because they run small. First day they gave me blisters on the backs of both ankles, but mostly because they were new and the elastic that runs around the ankle of the shoe will rub. But it's just a question of breaking them in, having some band-aids around just in case. These are great for travel, lightweight, and they look pretty nice, too!

I bought these for hiking through bodies of water. The first time out of the box I wore them with a pair of ankle socks and kept them completely dry. I noticed that they started to chafe my heel. The next time I wore them I used them in the water but with thick, nylon running socks which were specially designed to cut down on chafing. These socks helped the majority of the time, but every now and then I would hit a sore spot on my heel. These weren't that comfortable and will be going back.
