Comments about Lowa Vento QC Hiking Boots - Women's:
I used these boots an a very rocky hike and right around mile 6 was when the shoes started pinching my toes. I've read that Lowa's are a little more narrow than most brands. I don't consider my feet to be narrow or wide and these boots fit really comfortable in the store so I gave them a shot. They don't really provide much support if you have a heavy pack at really long distances with lots of rocks. They are extremely light weight and very comfortable. I went a little over 10 miles in extreme heat without any blisters (just very unhappy pinky toes). The ankle support is great and did not rub like some other boots I've had.
Sadly, I think they are too expensive to keep and will be returning them for a Keen. I've read the Keens have a bit wider toe box. These would be perfect if I had a narrower foot.
