I bought these for sport climbing, bouldering, and advanced top rope routes and could not be more pleased. The rubber sticks nicely, the shoe edges beautifully and I'm continually impressed by the tiny flakes I can solidly stand on. Several of my friends (all 5.11 climbers) have tried my shoes and loved them so much they've threatened to steal them!

I bought my Vapors a half size smaller than my Scarpa Technos and am happy with the snug fit, though I am not looking to stand around in these shoes and belay. I put them on, climb the route, then take them off. I also wouldn't recommend them for long trad climbs since the Vapors are more of a performance shoe than a comfort shoe. It's also important to note that the toe box is synthetic leather, and therefore doesn't stretch very much. I've been climbing in my Vapors several days a week for two months and have noticed only minimal stretch.

I demoed a pair of these this past weekend and fell in love with them. tried on a 39.5 and they fit great. loved the edging on these. felt like i could stand on anything and the rubber is like glue on the wall. would go to a 40 if i bought them because they run kinda small(normally take a 39) but maybe thats just me.

I use this shoe for bouldering and more aggressive indoor climbing. I definitely need to pop them off every couple of climbs, so I'm not sure that they would be great for long, multi-pitch climbs outdoors.

I love this shoe. Really great for precise footwork. My only complaint is that the heelbox is a tad too wide for me. The shoe is the right length and has good curvature, but I guess I just have narrow heels? Heel hooking can feel a bit squashy but it actually ends up holding well each time even if I don't think that it will. I'll keep the shoe for now, but I'm definitely looking around for something with a more precise fit for my heel.
