Comments about SureFire 6PX Pro Flashlight:
This light is one of the best. This is my 4th Surefire. I had the G2 LED, the new headlamp, and the Titan keychain light. I like this one WAY more than the G2 LED because it has a low setting. You want the big light of the high setting but you want the option of just a little light. This really helps save the battery life. Some of the best value surefire offers.

Comments about SureFire 6PX Pro Flashlight:
This is a great light for just about everything. It's rugged, reliable and can really take a beating. Last hiking trip, it fell from my pack and bounced down a steep, rocky cliff into a cold stream. I thought it was a goner, but I fished it out and it still worked perfectly (if a little banged up on the frame). I have one in my car, one for walking the dog at night, and one for emergencies.
The only real disappointment is that the light does not come with a lanyard ring, or an easy way to attach a ring. You can rig something, or Surefire sells a ring, but it would be nice if it were built into the frame.

Comments about SureFire 6PX Pro Flashlight:
This light is sturdy and bright, and thankfully adds a battery-saving low output mode to the single-mode, non-Pro "X" models. In return for the "value" pricing (at least for a Surefire), you give up the easy upgradeability via P60-style dropins of previous 6P/G2 models. But with 200 lumens OTF on the High setting, you may not need that.

Comments about SureFire 6PX Pro Flashlight:
It's a great product, it turns on every time I need it, it has a quite durable body, quite bright on high and just enough light on low to get stuff done without blinding someone or yourself. Its an all around good flashlight except that there is one major flaw, and that is when it is on low, or high for that matter, if you tap it on something or it gets hit with enough power, which is not a lot in any sense, it switches to the other brightness. This happens no matter where it's hit and it's kinda a big problem, because I might be out setting up my tent and I hit it on a pole or I drop it and it switches and blinds the person I'm with or ruins my night vision. This might not be a problem for a different use of the flashlight, but for me it is not the quality I was expecting for the price and certainly isn't the quality I was expecting from SureFire.

Comments about SureFire 6PX Pro Flashlight:
Having the Santa Monica Mtns. next to me, I needed a reliable flashlight that doesn't make me have to squint. Thank you Surefire. 200 Lumens on high, I have been able to go out at night and not have to worry about coyotes when I am with my dog. This light, at 200 Lumens, is by far the best light I have owned. Confident with spare batteries, I am not leery to go anywhere at night, I know I will find my way back.

Comments about SureFire 6PX Pro Flashlight:
This is high quality stuff! Surefire flash lights are for people who demand the best. I haven't taken this baby with me on an adventure yet, but I've been using it just around my house and for walking the dog at night until the time comes. What I love about this flash light is it has two power settings so you don't drain the batteries quickly. The high setting is very bright, and the low setting gives just enough to see what you need to see. I like that the body is made of Aluminum. It makes it very durable and it could take some abuse (why would you abuse a Surefire anyway?!). There are two things that bother me about it though:
1. There's no some sort of loop so you could attach the flashlight to a pack via Carabiner or something
2. You can't adjust the size of the beam, but I'm cool with "flood" beam type that it has, at least you don't have to worry about not enough beam coverage.
