        Amazing draw for the price. The dogbone is nice and stiff, easy to grab and keeps the carabiners oriented the right way. They aren't the lightest draws, nor the easiest to clip, but they are strong, durable, and beyond cheap. If this is your first draw, or if you simply want a product that is nearly as good as its twice-as-expensive counterpart, don't hesitate to get it.

        These were the first draws I ever bought, and I immediately fell in love with them, and haven't gone back. They work incredibly well, and the only thing I would really say bad about them is the top 'biner (the one without the rubber stopper) can be a tad bit loose and may tend to swing around if you're not careful, but it still stays on perfectly if you know how to handle it.

              Just bought a set of these and I must say I was quite impressed in the quality that BlackDiamond puts into its quickdraws. Rei also gives you a selection in sizes for the same price 18cm and 12cm (thats a big plus). Only con that I can think of is they are a bit stiff out of the box, the wire gate can give you trouble if you are not used to it. Would recommend familiarizing yourself with the amount of pressure needed to open the wire gate before you go off and lead something..(which was what I did and found out the hard way). Other than that great product for the price, will be buying some more soon.

              So my girlfriend got me these, fueling my climbing addiction! I have the 18cm dogbone style. I was a little nervous about the wire gates but once I used them, they felt super smooth to open and get the rope in there really fast. another thing is that they're light weight at only 103 grams. compared to the petzl spirits at 17cm that weigh 109 grams. carrying ten of the BD up the rock is 60grams less. in the picture the dogbone looks really thick but having them in my hand its a really good ratio to the biners. the only thing that i dont like is the fact that the top biner may spin around on you once its clipped in. they sit fine while on my harness though. and the bottom biners has the little rubber insert to keep its from spinning around. overall a good draw.

                great quickdraw. Ive been using a friend of mine's quick draws for a while and decided to get my own gear. the wire gates make for incredibly easy clipping. the webbing is stiff which keeps the carabiner in place. I've fallen a couple times on them and have not thought twice about the draw i was using. excellent draw. excellent price. anything from Black Diamond is worth getting.
