Got 4 of these to test out on the hanger side of some of my draws, and they meet and exceeded my expectations. Only a gram heavier than the neutrino but you don't ever notice it and is WELL WORTH the snagless feature. Better handling than the neutrino because of the hot forging and the way they crimp the wire slightly at the top makes the gate a little less slippery in the fingers.

I would def say if you are piecing together draws these would be my 1st choice for the hanger side, since they are cheaper than any other snagless option and as light as some.

Wire gates are the best for slings and draws in my book. But they can be finiky to mess with when the nose catches. In steps the Hoodwire, basically BD's Hotwire with proven strength, handeling and durability modified with another wire to keep from catching the nose.

Much better price than the Wild Country Helium (good biner) and larger than the Petzl Ange which is too small to work with.

My primary use of this item is, I use it on a 4 foot runner for personal back up while rigging a Challenge course. Its very light and with a binder/runner its make a great back up for rigging
