The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.
Gregory Deva 70 Pack - Women'sis rated4.1429out of5by7.
Rated5out of5byGemmafromBag may have been too comfortable!I went though several cheaper bags till I found my way to this one. I must admit I did shy away from it because of the name, Deva. Dumb, I know. I have used this pack for several trips, two trips to Yosemite, the second was two weeks in the back country, Devil's Ladder in Idyllwild Ca, several smaller local trails. I had this pack fitted to me at a store, and can't imagen buying one online unless you know what to order. For the two week trip I had over 70lbs of gear.I found this out after the trip, since the ranger station had a handy scale. I tried not to faint in shock. Yeah I was overloaded, but I made the trip in shocking comfort. Next time I won't do that again. I maybe 170lbs and a heavy build girl, but that was a bit too much to be safe!

Rated5out of5byKatie the BearfromComfortable and sturdyI used this pack for a six night backpacking trip in Yosemite backcountry with my two young kids. I had to carry the bulk of our food and water. The main compartment of the pack is spacious enough for a bear canister, sleeping bag, extra clothes, stove gas canisters, inflatable mat, 3 standard REI nalgene bottles, and other odds and ends. I carried the stove and water filter in external pockets. The pack was fully loaded and heavy to lift, but once on, I carried it comfortably for an average of 10 miles per day over hilly terrains. The reinforced side water bottle was super convenient to get the bottle in and out of while hiking. The only minor gripe is I wished it came with a built in rain cover as do most Ospreys.

Rated4out of5byVAhiekerfromFits Like a GloveI am petite and have used "hand me down" packs and smaller guy packs for hiking/trekking and always had issues with uncomfortable fit, especial in the waist and shoulder. Bought the Deva XS 70 and was very happy with its comfortable carry. It is slightly heavier compared to other packs but I NEVER had any back/hip/shoulder issues. The small zipper pouches on belt can hold energy bars, cell phones, sun block/chapsticks. Lots of cinch straps to keep the pack compressed. Packed it w/35 lbs of gear and trekked up to Mt. Rainier's Camp Muir.

Rated5out of5byShe NinjafromBest Purchase EVER!!!!!!!I needed a new hiking pack. The one I had before was a good back pack, but when I first got it the staff at REI didnt measure my torso, so the pack didnt fit properly. It worked well though for my last trip to Mount Diablo, but with my upcoming black belt test, my needs have changed. I now needed a pack that could comfortably hold up to 50lbs. My last pack could barely hold 40lbs. So I went to REI again prepared to trade it in for an upgrade. This time, the staff that helped me was great! I told him what I needed and said my torso was an XSmall, and this Gregory pack was the first thing he took me to. He loaded it up with weights, put it on my back, and I barely felt the weight. When I took it out on a hike last weekend, it was incredible!!!!
I dont have ANYTHING bad to say about this pack. Ladies, if any of you are looking for a great pack with VERY cush straps, is durable, can hold a lot, then look no further than a GREGORY pack. Best purchase EVER!!!!

Rated1out of5byGalscorpiofromNot the right pack for meFirst off let me tell you I'm 5'1 and a size 6 but I'm a thick size 6 with hips and booty but a small waist... This pack fit me great in the hips but after taking it for a couple walks around the lake too test it out I was shocked at how heavy the pack is. The Deva 70 is a very bulky pack with thick front straps that are too short so the bottom of the straps dig into the armpit if that makes sense. It's hard to explain but the employee at REI said I'm not the only one to have this issue which made me feel better cause I hate returning things.
I also prefer a simplier pack with less pockets and this thing has too many pockets...I'd rather to use stuff sacks in the main compartment.
This was my experience, I hope yours is better.

Rated4out of5bygruntfromExcellent PackLots of storage space that is easy to access with a bunch of extra compartments for anything you would need to fill it with. Great fit and comfortable feel that doesn't rest on your shoulders.

Rated5out of5byaaunheimfromGreat packThis was an excellent pack for my first 5 night backpacking trip on the West Coast of BC. We did the Juan de Fuca hike and the bag held everything that I needed with room to spare. All the little side pockets are excellent for storing and compartmentalizing, and the side zip access makes it so easy instead of unloading everything from the top.
The pack fits great at the hips and the straps are highly adjustable. I would recommend this pack for anyone doing overnight hiking.
