Comments about The North Face Horizon Tempest Roll-Up Pants - Women's Petite:
I tried a 2 at the store and just ordered 2 petite online. I'm excited to receive the pants as I have been looking for something to replace my North Face A5 pants for many years.
I'm 5'1" and 110 pounds. I'm not built skinny but neither am I stocky. I loved the material and how the pants looked on my legs. I also liked the waist tie which helped to give the pants more of a waist. At the sale price, this is a great value buy. I'll try to update this review if anything changes when I receive the right size.

Comments about The North Face Horizon Tempest Roll-Up Pants - Women's Petite:
I love these pants so much I have 3 pairs! I have a slim, athletic figure (medium waist, small hips) and find the pants flattering on me - not too tight, not too baggy. I love how breathable & lightweight they are and hiked comfortably in 100-degree weather in UT before. They pack small and dry quickly. The drawstrings let me put stuff in the pockets w/o needing a belt to hold them up. Only con is that the fabric is thin, so they do pill a bit, probably b/c I rubbed against rocks while scrambling and sat on some rough surfaces. I'll take it though, since thicker fabric would negate all the other pros.

Comments about The North Face Horizon Tempest Roll-Up Pants - Women's Petite:
These have a good petite length. However,I returned them though due to the very sloppy fit. The actual size was fine, but between the high waist, sticking-out cargo pockets, and lack of contouring in the waist these looked very boxy and unflattering. It's not that the actual fit was too big and yet there seemed to be extra fabric bagging out throughout the mid-section. REI's own convertible pants (both Willow and Rendez Vous) are equally functional and look a lot nicer.

Comments about The North Face Horizon Tempest Roll-Up Pants - Women's Petite:
I really wanted to buy a pair of zip-off pants for an upcoming backpacking trip. But they are always way too long for my short legs. I found these pants with a SHORT option! I could have skipped for joy! They are very comfortable, fast drying, and durable. The option to shorten into capris is a nice, easy feature. If you have short legs & need pants that don't drag on the ground, these are your pants! You will skip for joy too!

Comments about The North Face Horizon Tempest Roll-Up Pants - Women's Petite:
These pants have been great! I like the drawstring waist and the loose, but not baggy fit. I do feel the sizes run a bit large, but other than that, you will find me wearing these on the trails.
