Comments about Petzl Corax Climbing Harness:
This was my first harness, and I have to say its a great harness. All Petzl products are top of the line in my opinion. I use it mostly in the gym and some outdoors. Feels fine when I fall or put weight on it. The adjustable leg straps allow the harness to have a better fit. I would choose this harness over a fixed leg loop harness any day, especially if you are buying it online and not trying it on in the store.

Comments about Petzl Corax Climbing Harness:
This harness has some big gear loops, which I like for racking on shorter climbs (when I'm not using my gear sling). For some reason the leg loops fit me in a wierd way, making it slightly uncomfortable right when I weight the harness. It just requires I swivel my hips in a certain way then they become comfortable again.

Comments about Petzl Corax Climbing Harness:
This was my first personal harness and I love it! I can have it on all day at the gym or crag and never even feel it. Looking forward to taking it on multi pitch, I'm sure it will stay just as comfortable. Love the double adjustable straps on the hip, makes sure the belay ring is always in the center.

Comments about Petzl Corax Climbing Harness:
Super Comfy! Plenty of options for racking gear and adjustable leg loops work well in winter, for when you really don't want to take your crampons off to get your harness on.
Some notes on the fit: Sizing could be bit tricky, especially for women. I have a size 32 waist, but cinch the waist belt down almost the entire way. I think this is because Petzl sizing measures it over the hips (where a harness SHOULD sit) instead of on them like normal pants. At the same time, the leg loops are just big enough. My quads are rather large, and this could be a problem for others with a large thigh to wiast ratio, like many women out there. A womens harness might be a better fit for them (and me!).

Comments about Petzl Corax Climbing Harness:
I have had several harnesses over the years that covered the map price-wise; but this one even as inexpensive as it is, has to be the best all around harness I have worn and used yet. It is super comfortable, not especially heavy, the leg loops are VERY comfortable once set, and the belt is great for hanging out on that new extra tough route you're working. But the realy shining spot on this harness is the belt buckles/straps. This setup (two doubleback buckles) make on and off SUPER fast and easy. The only complaint I have has to do with taking a heavy or unexpected fall. The buckles, as I said before, are AWESOME, but it is tough to get them real tight (dont want it too tight) and when you take a pretty good fall and you have a bit more in the mid-section like me plus having a tall torso, the belt can scuff up said mid-section pretty good. This problem would be easily solved with a tighter adjustment on the straps. I only mention it here becuase other harnesses are a bit longer in the midsection and thus "belly chafe" on hard falls is not an issue.

Comments about Petzl Corax Climbing Harness:
I love this harness. Tried several before purchasing, and this one was by far the most versatile and comfortable of any I tried, other than maybe the Petzl Calidris which costs $30-$40 more. Very easy to adjust, snug fit and extremely comfortable.

Comments about Petzl Corax Climbing Harness:
I use mine 2-3 times a week for the last 8 months mostly at the gym and a few times at rumney and it shows almost no signs of wear. I've fallen 20+ feet several times and it feels fine. It also feels fine when hanging. the only thing I'd change is to make the gear loops a little stiffer and stick out more to make it easier to clip and unclip gear.

Comments about Petzl Corax Climbing Harness:
This is a very nice harness.
I like the very ample adjustability. It can be a bit of a bummer if you happen to fall right on the line between the two sizes. If that is the case, try the smaller first. The sizing seems a bit big (it's been awhile since I was a 29.5" waist, yet the larger size has become too big since I lost a bit of weight).
The gear loops are fine, the double buckles are nice, the harness is comfortable, the drop legs work. My only other complaint, and this might just be me, but I seem to have a hard time getting the leg loops on correctly out of my backpack -- I always seem to get them twisted, even though I thought I had then oriented the right way. For reasons I don't understand, I have hard time getting this harness on correctly the first time. Silly, I know.
But don't let my quibbles dissuade you, this is a very nice and comfortable all-around harness.

Comments about Petzl Corax Climbing Harness:
What I truly hate about this harness, at least on my model, is the plastic clip in the back that holds the leg loops up. It's small, but about 1/4 inch thick, which is thicker than most, and makes stemming in a chimney with your lower back pushing into the wall almost impossible. The small clip causes excruciating pain in this situation as it presses firmly into the spine. It cannot be removed. Otherwise probably a decent harness, but as it's been my only one, I can't really say.

Comments about Petzl Corax Climbing Harness:
I have only used it indoor at the moment but I am ready to take it outside. It fits great and the size options are not complicated its a 1 or a 2. I like that there is no need to doubble back and there are buckles on both sides so you can center your harness easily. The price is good but this not a harness for an expert or a sport climber. Regardless it would get the job done.
