The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Petzl Charlet Barrettes Long Linking Crampon Bars:
I have a pair of 10-point IRVIS crampons from Petzl. They do not fit my size 47 SILBERHORN GTX mountaineering boots from Lowa. I thought, Okay I'll just order these size L linking bars from Petzl that say they're made to fit sizes 41 through 50; that will surely fix the problem. No it didn't. These size L linking bars (Petzl product #T20850) are the exact same as the ones that originally came with my Petzl Crampons.
I should clarify one thing: the crampons will just barely fit my boot if I use the last outside hole in the linking bar; however, there are explicit instructions that come with the product that say do NOT use any of the last 3 holes. Hence they do not fit. Fortunately, my wife has smaller feet than me so I gave the crampons to her, returned these linking bars, and ordered some Non-Petzl crampons that fit.
