I use the Nano vest to control sweating. It is the first layer I put on when resting after a period of intense activity in hiking and backpacking in the cooler months. It now has a permanent place in my daypack as an emergency layer. I transfer it to my backpack when camping for the same purpose.

I bought the synthetic insulation version as for emergency purposes I need something that will retain warmth even when wet.

Great product and I am starting to get a lot of good use now that the extreme cold weather is changing up. The vest is a little bulky at and around the waist/stomach line, but other than that, the vest is perfect. Fabric is lightweight, warm and can easily pack up into your messenger bag/briefcase, backpack,…etc. No regrets from the purchase. Size and fit calculation is about right with regards to their chart. I went with a large and I am extremely satisfied. I am about 200lbs at 5-9 inches, sport/athletic build.
