Comments about Patagonia Nano Puff Hoodie Jacket - Men's:
This jacket is great! I love it. It's been just about perfect with my smartwool long sleeve zip. Right around 32 degrees, it requires an outer shell to keep up with the cold. But anything above 32 degrees, this thing is quite toasty. I am riding my bike as well, so with the wind, I'm sure I'm a bit colder than a hiker. I tested out the water resistance and it worked great. I was actually sweating in my jacket in 45 degree drizzly rain on the ride home the other day. The hoody is great, but does make it pack a little bigger than my buddy's nano w/o the hoody. I can't wait to use this thing on a long multipitch rock climbing trip!
This thing is great though underneath an outer shell. So toasty warm.
I got the large, and I'm a 180lb 5'11" dude with lanky arms.
Oh! And this thing is super bright! I love it.

Comments about Patagonia Nano Puff Hoodie Jacket - Men's:
I've used this in cold weather on hikes below and above treeline. It works great. I didn't even use my wind shell as it seems with a fleece to block the wind. I haven't tested it below zero degrees, or very gusty winds but I was sweating with only three layers including this jacket. My only complaint is that there is no way to secure the hood in windy conditions. Placing ski goggles over it or if your wind shell does have a securing method (as mine does) will do the trick and you shouldn't have a problem.
