Comments about Marmot Phoenix Rain Jacket - Women's:

I bought this jacket for the rainy San Francisco weather. I'm 5'7" and 135 lbs and I LOVED the fit and the fleece around the collar. It worked fine in bits of rain and sprinkling, but the first time I wore it for 3 hours in steady rain, my clothes on the inside were damp. It seemed to leak the most at the seams. I took it back and asked if it might just be a fluke, but the customer service representative shared that a few others had returned it for the same reason.
After trying on every jacket again I decided on the Gore-tex minimalist Marmot jacket. You can't go wrong with Gore-tex. It was worth the upgrade for a rainy city.
