Comments about Lightweights for Wheels Power Reflectors:
I put these on the spokes of my commuter bike and let me tell you that they put off some serious reflection in headlights!! I cut the stickers in half, and wound up putting a double roll of reflectors on the spokes (one row near the rim, the other row near the hub). I used the extras on my running vest and other parts of the bike that I wanted to be reflective.
Excellent product! I'm getting ready to buy some more to bling out my other bikes.

Comments about Lightweights for Wheels Power Reflectors:
Just got these reflectors recently, and am already quite impressed. As another reviewer noted, these do take some time to get on right. It took about 90 minutes for me to do both my wheels. Follow the instructions diligently -- be sure to clean the spokes with degreaser or alcohol as written. Getting the backing paper to release but the sticker to stay on the spoke is tricky, but you will get the hang of it. These seem to adhere really well: I had to remove a couple of "goofs," where I wasn't satisfied, and it was quite difficult to get the sticker off. I think they'll hold on well for several years.

Comments about Lightweights for Wheels Power Reflectors:
These reflectors are great. They weigh almost nothing, they're brighter than most 'stock' reflectors, and they look nice. I feel that the round shape of them going around your wheel better helps in identification as well. They are durable and likely to last for years on end. Heck, some extras were even included just in case you break a spoke or something.
The one big problem with these is that putting them on is a non-trivial exercise. It took me 2+ hours to do my front and rear wheel. You see, each piece has a paper 'backing' on the non-sticky side of it for initial support. You must first get the sticky side to stick to the spoke which requires a lot of pressure and a good amount of patience. Quite honestly, now that I know the work involved, I'm not sure I would want to do it again.

Comments about Lightweights for Wheels Power Reflectors:
These are tedious to install -- but what do you expect? It's a bunch of little stickers! Grab a beer, turn on some music or public radio, follow the directions, and settle in for a tedious chore that is going to payoff BIG once you get it over with.

I have lightweights on all my bikes. I wouldn't ride at night without them - and without lightweights for clothing on my jacket too. They really make your whole wheel reflect as you ride.

Comments about Lightweights for Wheels Power Reflectors:
Gave these as a gift to my dad and he loves them! Like others have said, they take a while to install, so I included "installation" as part of the gift. The makers have really thought out how to make them easiest to install, and I found the included measurement guide very helpful for aligning them evenly. It only took me about an hour, so I suggest you do like I did and enlist someone else to help. I put on the stickers and my boyfriend held the measurement guide. This really helped speed things along. One warning, they are very sticky! I used some of the extra ones around the bike frame, but messed one up by trying to peel it up and move it. That's a good thing though because it means they won't come off easily!
My dad's favorite thing was that you can see them from any angle because they wrap completely around each spoke.
Comments about Lightweights for Wheels Power Reflectors:
I was going to write a scathing review until, reading some of the others here, I realized I had installed them wrong. FWIW - the "protective paper" does not delaminate all that well. I thought I had just wrapped my spokes in adhesive tape, to no good effect. Chastened by a careful re-read of the directions, I think I've recovered by carefully removing the protective paper ... but it's a lame a shaky application I'll be living with. You will know you have it right when you find yourself dealing with a stretchy film - that's the payload - has all the reflective function. I believe the post above that said that removal is a horror - it is gummy and sticky and impossibly fragile. Lastly, they look kind of funky on black spokes, but will blend in well on steel. All that said, if you install them correctly, they are reflective.

Comments about Lightweights for Wheels Power Reflectors:
These little guys work exactly as promised. They are bright, small and aesthetically smart. They blend in quite well with steel finish spokes and reflect light very well. The pack contains more than enough pieces to outfit wheels (and mess up a few times) and whatever else that could use reflectors, even clothes and shoes. The application process is a bit tedious, but that's not surprising considering the nature of the product: lots of little stickers.
The excellent adhesive properties of these stickers are a double-edge sword. Rain, dirt and dust are not a problem, these reflectors are not coming off. However... If you are off in the application, you can't just remove the sticker and re-apply it. Additionally, if for whatever reason you need to take all of them off the spokes as I've had to do, you're in for hours of "fun" (which is to say, no fun at all) and if the spokes have any kind of a finish that's not plain smooth steel, you may be out of luck. I had to use solvent, very careful scraping with a small serrated blade and fingernail power to remove the reflectors. That said, if you don't foresee yourself needing to remove the stickers, you won't regret buying these. Well worth the money and the application time.
