        I like this watch for its durability and classic good looks. But I also had a problem with the battery dying right out of the box. I exchanged it for a second watch and this one works fine. It is hard to find a replacement band and the original band is slightly too short (it fits but not much to spare). My wrist size is about average so the band shouldn't be that short on me. But aside from these issues it's a nice watch that can be worn anywhere. It holds up to abuse and after three years of outdoor adventures the watch face hasn't scratched yet. I suggest purchasing this watch in the store so you can try it on and make sure the battery works before you take it home.

        Exactly what I need in a "multi-purpose" watch - which is why I'm giving it a third try. The original in-store purchase; battery died within a couple weeks and was exchanged for #2 which had to be shipped. Unfortunately the second watch was dead out of the box. I returned THIS one and recieved #3 a few weeks ago. I'm happy to report it's still ticking and working as expected.

        Love the watch. Flaw however is that the watch requires a wide band. It is impossible to find a watch band wide enough and short enough. Yes, you can find a men's or unisex watch band, but they are too long. The watch is then floppy on the wrist.
        Kind of expensive watch not to be able to find a replacement band.
