Comments about Princeton Tec Apex Pro LED Headlamp - 2010:

When picking a headlamp for 24 hour races / night running, you never want to go cheap. This light is one of the brightest on the market. If you plan on doing overnight trail running, do yourself a favor and get this headlamp. Yes it costs more but its worth the longer battery life and extra brightness.

Comments about Princeton Tec Apex Pro LED Headlamp - 2010:

This is the brightest headlamp for the price that I've ever come across. It really is like the sun is shining from the top of my head. Some people say they don't like it that bright, I say the brighter the better when you're using it for walkin' around in the pitch black. I'm a youth at risk wilderness guide up in Alaska and a good head lamp is absolutely necessary. The bummer about this headlamp is the hinge is not well constructed. It stripped the casing on mine as well as a few other guides headlamps. We all ended up returning ours for something else. Not as bright but more durable. If they fix the hinge this would be a keeper!
