The Petzl Tikka 2 Core headlamp features 4 LEDs, 3 lighting modes and a rechargeable battery that lets you customize the lighting performance for nearly any activity.

Includes the Petzl Core lithium-ion polymer 900 mAh rechargeable battery that can be recharged up to 300 times, making it equivalent to more than 900 AAA alkaline batteries
Download OS by Petzl software to modify functionality of your headlamp; select regulated or unregulated output and adjust settings to affect battery life and light intensity
4 LEDs provide even lighting throughout your field of vision with no blank spots in the beam; LEDs throw the beam up to 32m
Push-button switch lets you easily change between 3 lighting modes (high, low and flashing) so you can choose the appropriate light level for the task at hand
Standard USB connection allows the Core battery to be recharged from any USB charger, such as a computer, a solar panel or a portable energy source (all sold separately)
Can also be recharged from a cell phone charger, a car's 12-volt socket or a wall outlet with appropriate adapters (includes wall adapter only)
When headlamp is used in regulated mode, battery provides up to 23 hrs. of use with high-output LED on low and 5 hrs. on high
Battery recharges in about 3 hrs.
Design allows the Core battery to be replaced by 3 AAA alkaline, lithium or NiMH rechargeable batteries (sold separately)
Provides IPX4 water resistance for reliability in inclement weather
Headlamp tilts to point light where you need it; adjustable elastic headband holds the light securely in place
Compatible with the Petzl Adapt Tikka 2 system (sold separately), which allows you to quickly and easily attach the light in a variety of places
OS by Petzl software for PC and Mac computers is available for download from Petzl at www.petzl.com/en/outdoor/headlamps/compact-tikka-2/core

Comments about Petzl Tikka 2 Core Headlamp:

I just got back from a 3 nighter in the victorian alpine region and could not be happier. The lamp gave ample light for camp activities as well as things like collecting water and firewood a few hundred metres from camp. The adjustable light beam is solid and the three lighting options work very well. Will definitely be buying Petzel in the future
