Comments about REI Sausalito Shirt - Men's:
The shirt fabric is soft with a slight nap and is as comfy as you like. By any measure it stands up to comparison with more expensive brands which I've also bought.
I've already bought two of these shirts and expect to buy more.
Service and delivery comments:
From the USA to South Korea delivery was FAST!

Comments about REI Sausalito Shirt - Men's:
I bought this shirt for my husband in every color! I was tired of the cotton shirts that come out of the dryer and suitcase looking like they'd been run over by a truck, so I chose the shirt for the fabric. Silky, but plenty masculine.
What surprised me was how well they fit! The small is truly a small. My husband is a bodybuilder, but short with a 29 inch waist. Most men's clothes look like a tent on him. These shirts actually fit his trim frame: plenty of room through the shoulders and narrow through the hips. The "small" won't fit many men out there, but you small guys (you know who you are) should dash out and snag 'em! This is really a fabulous shirt.

Comments about REI Sausalito Shirt - Men's:
Great feel to fabric. I generally take long sizes, but the XL was cut long enuf for my torso. I'm 6'4", 235 lbs. w/ 16 neck and 36" arms. Fits very nicely. Cloth does feel heavy, but on mid-70-degree evening & medium humidity, this shirt was VERY comfortable. I'm going to buy a blue one ("inkwell" or something like that), if they are still available.

Comments about REI Sausalito Shirt - Men's:
Advertised as quick-dry and wicking, but are neither - felt moisture build up in tight areas (pits, around cuffs on long sleeve version) and grew warm fairly quickly. Advertised as lightweight and good for travel, but material feels like a heavier courdory - feels very weighty when wearing and not conducive to packing light for travel. Normally REI x-large shirts fit me well, but these are tight across the chest and waist and very tight in the arm pits - uncomfortable to wear. The same descriptions are used by REI to accurately describe their Sahara Tech shirts (quick-dry, wicking, etc.). I purchased these Sausalitos assuming the same positive results I found with the Sahara Techs but not even close.

Comments about REI Sausalito Shirt - Men's:
I have purchased 3 of these shirts from REI over the past year or so and I couldn't be happier. I particularly like that they can be folded and packed for travel and end up wrinkle free after a short time hanging up. These shirts have gone to Europe with me on multiple occasions and make a great dressy casual shirt worn out with slacks or a good every day shirt worn with jeans or casual pants. This shirt is without a doubt my favorite among all of my casual button up shirts including Royal Robbin shirts and ExOfficio. I find that unlike one of the other reviewers, that the XL large fits me well, but admittedly, since I wear these shirts out most of the time, I am not concerned about a little extra bulk.

Comments about REI Sausalito Shirt - Men's:
Bought shirt on my wife's account. Really nice fabric, heavier than I thought it would be. Also appeared to be well made. But the sizing is a bit off (for me, anyhow). Whenever I buy clothes the salesperson usually points out that I'm very broad shoulder and large chested. I figured that being an activewear company, an REI brand large would be cut for someone with my build. Not so - some large sized shirts fit me snugly through the chest and shoulders, and some are tight to the point of being restrictive - but this shirt was so tight across the shoulders and chest that I had difficulty putting it on. And once on, I could have easily torn it down the back simply by crossing my arms. I may exchange it for an extra large, but the increase in size will have to be drastic to accommodate me, and not having an extra large sized waist, I'll probably wind up with an excess of shirt to tuck in and make me look dumpy and overweight.
