The quick-drying REI Rendezvous convertible pants for tall women feature thoughtful design details, and transform easily to capris when the temperature rises.

Lightweight yet tough nylon fabric dries fast and wicks moisture away from your skin; spandex adds shape retention and a touch of stretch
With a UPF 50+ rating, fabric provides excellent protection against harmful ultraviolet rays
Fixed waistband with belt loops hits just below belly button and secures with zip fly and snap; internal drawcord dials in the fit

Really nice length & fit!

Comfortable pants for everyday use to backcountry hiking. Large useful pockets. I've received numerous compliments on them. Durable - they been washed a ton of times in the past couple of years and still look great. Next to my "REI Willow tall" pants (please bring Willow back REI!), the Rendezvous are my favorites.

I'm 5'10", 140 lbs (35" inseam) and size 10 is comfortable, just a bit loose. Might try an 8 next time.

These pants are great. I agree with the other reviewers that the length is just great, if you are a tall gal. I'm 5'11" and usually wear a 35-36" inseam and these were perfect in length.

However,the chocolate chip color looks nothing like the color that is on line. I thought they looked more olive than brown, when they arrived in the mail. I kept them because the fit and length is great but the color was definitely not what I was expecting.

I haven't given these a hike test trip yet, but wanted to give a review to encourage REI to continue making pants in this length. I am 5'10, 145 lbs and usually wear a size 8 with somewhere between 35-37 inch inseam. These pants are actually long enough for those that need the ultra tall pants. I ordered an 8 tall and they seem true to size. For me the waist hits just below the bellybutton and the pants are fitted through the thigh, but are more boot cut in the calves. The zippers on the legs hit just below the knee and the color coding is a nice benefit. The pockets are of useful sizes, but the pants are fitted enough that anything in the pockets would show through. The material is thin, but rather breathable. Could dress up for the office and be very useful on the trail. REI needs to offer more pants in this length.

I cannot tell you how happy I am that REI has started carrying tall sizes for women. I'm 6'1", wear a size 8 and usually need a 36" inseam. These are the perfect length and fit like a glove without any movement restrictions.
