      I originally bought this top in black for summer travel in Europe, later buying the nile (turquoise) color as well. The casual-but-not-sloppy style goes well with the casual a-line knee length skirts or capri length pants I prefer for summer travel clothing in Mediterranean countries.

      The ruching will flatter most figure types. I am 5'3", so the top is a little longer on me than on the model, but the ruching makes it easy to adjust the hem to sit a little higher on my hips.

      If all the rinse water is spun out by machine (or pressed out in a dry towel when handwashed), the shirt will air-dry overnight if it hangs in a breezy location. The stretchy fabric feels more like cotton than synthetic knit, and its medium weight isn't too heavy for very warm weather, nor it is too light or see-thru (though I haven't tried the white color). While the V-neck is a good depth in general (certainly not "nun-ish", but also not too deep), I needed to wear a neck scarf with it on sunny days to protect my upper chest from the sun.

      One small criticism is that the fabric pilled a little bit where my cross-body bag strap rubbed against the fabric while I was traveling in Spain recently, but the pilling is not very noticeable (very, very small pills) without close inspection, certainly less noticeable than has occurred on some other synthetic fabric travel shirts and tops I have owned.

          This ruched tee is a step up from a basic tee. I am a 34DD and this shirt accommodates my chest size, while still hugging at the waist. The ruching camouflages bra lines and flaws.

            I'm so glad there are stylish tops for women that also have UPF protection. This top is well-made and comfortable. Re: sizing, I think it's more of an athletic fit. So, if you are busty, have a large frame, or a post-baby belly, you may want to size up.
