Comments about Kelty Hula House 4 Tent:

It sure seemed like it would be a great tent, easy to set up, vestibule etc...but, there was no head room in the vestibule, getting in and out was a pain. The poor (or rather none) ventilation makes the tent heat up quickly in the morning. The "pockets" were well, what token...hardly usable. I sure wish I had a chance to see this tent in the store first, but I didn't. Sad to say, what I thought was going to be a really good tent, ended up being a very uncomfortable experience...

When we are base camping this is our tent of choice. The hoop construction brings the walls vertical and makes it very spacious. It is confortable enought to stand in, or bring the chairs in and sit out a rainstorm. We have used it in heavy rain, and 30-40 mph winds and had no problems. It is mostly mesh so it is well vetilated if you open the rainfly a bit. The vestibule is spacious enought to store some gear, Its not comfortable to hang out on, but why would I want to?
