I love how soft this coat is and like the color. I also like that it is a bit longer and covers a bit more- lately every coat I find is so short! The only con is that the shoulders are stitched in a way that makes it fit a bit square. I originally ordered a medium to be sure I could wear bulky clothes under it, and it was too big and I looked like I had had big square shoulders. I bought a small and it is still roomy. Shoulers are still slightly squared off but much better and I am happy with it. I would not have paid full price however due to the fit not being perfect. If you're someone with wider shoulders it may fit you perfectly.

I REALLY like this jacket a lot but had to give it a 4 not a 5 because of the size. I ordered an extra-large for a little room but this "fits." At the best it is one size smaller than labeled. I understand close to body concept and warmth but no body wants to look like a sausage in a puffy jacket.
Once you are past the size it is a rock star of a jacket. The fabric is soft and the color combo is lovely (lots of compliments on the color). Wonderfully warm and very light. It is a long time keeper as long as I don't gain five pounds.

I love this jacket. I am tall (5'-10") with a regular/athletic build (150 lbs). I like that this jacket is a little longer than some others I've tried and the blue/gray "Lyons blue" color combination is really nice & I like the stitching pattern (note: the pattern I received is just as shown. the other colors have a different stitching pattern in the images online - I'm not sure why & this could be accurate for the other colors). I understand what the other reviewers mean about the boxy cut of the shoulders but since I have fairly broad shoulders anyway, I don't consider it to be an issue. Seems to fit well. AND got a great deal w/ an extra coupon. Warm and comfy. Puffiness is kind of a "medium" - not super thin like a down sweater but also not a giant puffy. The arms do have a slim fit so it would be tough to put really thick layers on underneath.

Beautiful jacket, super warm, soft and lightweight, but the shoulders are really boxy. I have wide shoulders anyway, so this jacket made me look like a football player! Also, I made the mistake of buying this without checking to see if it had any slight water repellent finish, which it doesn't. Even a drop of water will soak right in, which is bad with a down fill. I hate to return it because it would have been such a great deal for a beautiful coat, but I can't deal with the fit, and I live in the rainy NW.

The colors are nice (I got the 2 tone with light blue, but the shoulders were extremely square and big. I ordered xs and it was still roomy in the shoulders and generally ran a bit big. My shoulders are proportionately big for my frame.

Is anyone else finding this jacket seems to shed feathers like crazy? I'm concerned with how long it's going to last, given how much it's shedding.
It was a Xmas gift - I love how warm it is, since I love the cold but am also cold-blooded. I've worn it biking in 15 - 20 degrees F, XC skiing in similar temps, and just walking around town - very warm. The fit is good for me - 5'2", 110 lbs, so it's great that the sleeves are not too long. The sleeves might be a little tight for people with larger arms, but mine are matchsticks so not a problem. I agree with other posts that the shoulders are goofy boxy, but it's so warm and so light I can put up with that if it keeps its feathers.

This jacket is the best! I am a ski patroller and have been wearing numerous layers under my jacket and still haven't been quite warm enough. The first day I used it there was a wind chill of -15 degrees and I was toasty warm all day. The other patrollers were complaining about the cold, but not me. I was bragging about how warm I was in my new down jacket. I've been able to shed all those extra layers, except a very thin, wicking, long-sleeved T underneath.

I really like this jacket because its stylish and warm. However, I do agree with the other reviews. Due to the stitching of the jacket the fit is poor making my shoulders look boxy. Is it terrible ? No, because I like the style and its a warm jacket and a good deal for the price! It deftly would be perfect if it was windproof, waterproof, hooded, and the shoulders weren't boxy making me look broader like I'm wearing a jacket with shoulder pads looking like a football player! But, Overall I am happy with the style, warmth, and price. I like this jacket much better than the Women's Cordillera Athena 800 Down Sweater which is on sale too. I tried them both and prefer this one. MY first choice is a patagonia but I like this price better.
