I received this jacket as a christmas present and it worked well in the snow and cold with multiple layers under it. I am a pretty small lady and the small fit well. All winter i was very excited about this jacket, until it came to spring showers. I ran through the rain for less than 2 minutes and well, i was soaked. This jacket is not waterproof. Also, three zippers have broken. Needless to say it is cold-weather proof and was a tough match for Colorado snow, it was no match for rain. I have already placed my order for a mountain hardwear rain jacket replacement. I will keep this jacket as a top layer, but never will rely on it for the trails. If you are looking to stay dry in the spring/summer with no layers under this jacket... you are looking in the wrong direction. Go ahead and stick with a reliable brand, this jacket is not reliable.
