Comments about Nathan Catalyst Electrolyte Drink Mix - 16 Tablets:

I use this product while cycling, to stay hydrated, avoid muscle cramps and keep from bonking. After trying many similar products, I like this one (Pomegranate-Blueberry) best. It works well and tastes good. As for the first reviewer's comment about sugar, the label shows dextrose and fructose among the ingredients and lists each serving as having < 1 gram of sugar. At 4 calories per gram and considering that all manufacturers list calories per serving to the nearest 5, the listed 0 calories is justifiable if not 100% accurate.

Comments about Nathan Catalyst Electrolyte Drink Mix - 16 Tablets:

Though a die-hard Vitalyte fan, I've always been fascinated by these tablet type electrolyte mixes. The other two brands I've tried (Elixr and NUUN) both underwhelmed me. I tried these Nathan ones on a lark (the Orange) and was pleasantly surprised. I use 20oz of water instead of the recommended 24, and it's helped me break my soda habit. Works decently to keep me hydrated while hiking, too.

Also, the review by Echkaetzle that criticized these tablets for being 'sugar free' but containing fructose and dextrose is misinformed. While fructose and dextrose are sugars, Sugar (as in 'Sugar Free') is sucrose, and these tablets do not contain sucrose. It's too bad that that individual chose to trash this fine product instead of educating him or herself.
