The crotch in this brief is only 3" wide. I ordered them because I thought they looked wider than the ones I wear now. These are much worse. Doesn't an actual male person try these on before they go on the market? They do appear to be well made.

Unlike the other guys, I like the cut of these briefs. After all, they are briefs. This is exactly what I was looking for.
As for the stretch of these I can't really speak since I didn't own an older pair.
I wore these hiking in Yosemite and they were great. Great support. Moved with me just like a brief should.

I purchased these for running and biking. When I first tried the Body Sensors Underwear Briefs on, I quickly noticed the strange cut of the briefs. They are just too narrow through the crotch. However, I stopped noticing the cut once I started running and found these to be comfortable for that activity. However, I dont know if I would use them for biking. I purchased a pair of REI briefs at the same time and I would recommend those over the Body Sensors Underwear Briefs.

I really liked the previous version of these briefs, which were part polyester and part lycra. The new version is 100% polyester and doesn't stretch like the old version, which causes binding and chafing when I move around. Maybe it will fit better for you.
