Comments about Hi-Tec R100 Road-Running Shoes - Men's - Special Buy:
Honestly, might make a great racing flat, and they have pillowy cushioning (feels literally like the material crocs are made of and provides that level of softness). THat said, there is NO support, the shoe feels not much better than if I had a mesh top sewh to a croc. I'm a big guy so maybe they'd be o.k. for a 125-130lb road racer as they are super light and have a nice cushiony feel but they cant handle support for me. Also, the sole is tractionless on grass or anything damp. THey are becoming painting shoes for me.

Comments about Hi-Tec R100 Road-Running Shoes - Men's - Special Buy:
These shoes are designed for people with very fat feet (I ordered the standard width). My heel slides left and right - mostly left so that the shoe doesn't come down square with each step; the soles are wearing very unevenly along the inside edge. Around the arches of my feet and just behind the balls of my feet there is also too much room which can't be laced tighter. The sizing in terms of length is correct though.
The insoles provide very little cushion and there are practically no raised arches.
A very poor shoe all-around.

Tired feet after long days need good shoes. Most days I wear cycling shoes or closed toed sandals. These shoes are a welcome relief!

Comments about Hi-Tec R100 Road-Running Shoes - Men's - Special Buy:
I'm new to running, and wanted a pair of inexpensive shoes for jogging around urban areas (less than 4 miles at a time). This shoe (with its low price when on sale) fit that really well. After longer distances, though (specifically a 10K road race), my ankles and knees were really sore; after talking to other runners, I realized this is probably because of the lack of cushioning (on longer runs). I still use these for short runs, but am breaking in a more expensive pair of shoes for longer distances.

Comments about Hi-Tec R100 Road-Running Shoes - Men's - Special Buy:
The left shoe fits well, but the right shoe is one or even two sizes small and does not fit. This right shoe has caused me so much pain that I had to throw the shoes away... money down the drain.
