REI Members get back an estimated 10% on this item as part of their annual member refund.

    The REI Member Dividend

The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.

Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.

Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Burton Bullet Snowboard Tool:

The tool broke after minimal use. The bit just falls out because something broke in the mechanism that holds it. It will no longer grip the driver head AND the ratcheting mechanism will no longer lock into position, rendering the whole tool useless as a screwdriver even if holding it from underneath vertically. It broke at home luckily, not while on the slopes.
This Burton tool does come with multiple attachments and is more compact than similar tools from Dakine and other makers. I like Burton in general, but this tool has a sticker that says "Made in Korea" and the craftsmanship is NOT GOOD. Plastic parts used to grip and turn metal parts, are you serious? Returning to REI and getting the Dakine model.

Comments about Burton Bullet Snowboard Tool:

I'm not the biggest fan of Burton, I would never buy one of their boards or bindings because of the channel system, and burton's softgoods are almost as expensive as patagonia/arc'teryx, but without the same quality.

Diatribe aside, little things like this tool are really well made by Burton. Easy to use, and the bits stay in socket well. I just keep it stashed in my pack- it's been really handy at times, like when I switched to a new set of bindings and wanted to make tweaks at the bottom of runs.
