Comments about Backcountry Access Tracker2 Avalanche Transceiver:
This is a Great easy to use Transceiver , made right here in the USA. I have used the Transceiver for many training sessions and it has always been reliable and easy to use. The Tracker has good range and makes finding your friends fast. Don't go in the Backcountry without training, a Partner, Transceiver, shovel and probe.

Comments about Backcountry Access Tracker2 Avalanche Transceiver:
Works well even with gloves on. I haven't had to use it for rescue, but have tested it several times. The search toggle is the wide chevron at the bottom, just pull that out and searching will start.
Harness works, remember to have the beacon facing INWARD (screen towards your body).
Good range. I would like a 360 degree direction indicator, but most beacons do not have this and it's very easy to search even without it.
Remember to get an avalanche safety course.

Bought this on a recommendation from an avid BC skier. Love it. Simple, cost effective and about as dummy proof as it gets.
