Comments about Sea To Summit Lite Line Clothesline:
First of all, I would like to state that we have 3 children under the age of 5 so we have to do alot of car camping. This review may not be helpful for those who backpack. We used this product while camping at Delaware Seashore State Park and it works amazingly well. You slip the clothes in between 2 ropes and use the beads to hold it in place. I was skeptical about it when I first put it up but I couldn't believe how much and how well it worked at such a windy place such as the beach. None of our clothes came off! Also, the case that is included is attached and very helpful for storage. The price is good compared to the REI clothesline and works much better. Not only that, you don't need to bring anything extra to keep your clothes on the line!

Comments about Sea To Summit Lite Line Clothesline:
Looked at a lot of different options for travel use, and this is The One! Packs tiny, unfolds to a full 11'6" (twice the length of most competing travel lines), weighs 1.2 oz. Sliding bead system is amazingly effective (who'd have thought it?) so no need for clothespin substitutes (although you can always use twist ties, rubber bands, etc). Both ends have a hook which loops around whatever you want to secure it to, and you can adjust to whatever length you like up to the full 11.6". Folds away easily back into the attached pouch. A very clever and well executed solution. I bought this for use primarily in foreign hotel rooms for washing up in the bathroom sink, but it would work equally well outdoors in open air, in a cruise stateroom, etc. Great product, well worth adding to my travel bag.

Comments about Sea To Summit Lite Line Clothesline:
Just completed a 14-day drive down the Pacific Highway from Seattle to just above San Francisco with side trips to Crater Lake, Redwoods and 3 days in Yosemite. Stayed in funky small hotels. This clothesline was invaluable. Its length is excellent for running multiple continuous lines in a small bathroom or one long line is a spacious place. We discovered we could hang clothes over it (as expected) or hang them on coat hangers from the hotel rack (when provided). The hotel hangers that just end in a knob and not a hook can be held securely between two of the buttons on this line. The only improvement might be to include a few clothespins in the kit as well.

Comments about Sea To Summit Lite Line Clothesline:
I used this on a daily basis during a week long camping trip and it was perfect.
Sliding my clothes between the ropes and using the beads instead of pins or hooks to keep them in place worked perfect. I didn't notice any wrinkles in my clothes.
The hooks on each end make hanging the clothes line super easy.
It's great storing everything in the little pouch so you don't need anything extra for hanging up your clothes/towel to dry.

Comments about Sea To Summit Lite Line Clothesline:
I bought this clothes line to take with me on a three week trip to Italy. I was impressed with how small and light it was - both important when traveling overseas. The beads on the line work great to hold up clothes. The built in hooks for hanging up the line were easy to use. I enjoyed this clothes line so much that now that I am home, I use it in my house to air dry my running clothes. This purchase was a great value.

Works great and packs up super small. We use two of them for our three person family. Easily set up once in camp and allows sweaty shirts, bike shorts and towels to dry quickly.

I was impressed with the reviews so I bought this for a backpacking trip. Loved it! Holds clothes on the line really well (not sure how it would handle heavy items though). Ideal size for 1-2 people.

Comments about Sea To Summit Lite Line Clothesline:
This clothesline works great. We have one for each of us to hang clothes up while bike touring or backpacking. It is VERY tiny and lightweight but is a respectable length and holds a decent quantity of items.

Comments about Sea To Summit Lite Line Clothesline:
Beads were not easy to use. I used the "REI Hang Up Clothesline" last year on my trip to Honduras, and found the clothespins easier to use. (Even though they slid along the line, you could tie knots to keep them in place). There were not enough beads on this line to hang multiple small items, and the design of pinching the clothes between lines with the beads created a lot or wrinkles on t-shirts, etc. Basically, I ended up using this "Sea to Summit Lite Line" to just drape my clothes over. I could have used a length of rope instead.
