Comments about Garmin City Navigator microSD Data Card - North America NT 2012:
I have the SD version of this product. It resolves the issues from users who want to use this software on different Garmin units. I didn't want to commit this product to just one Garmin product, so I purchased the SD version instead. Very Happy. The SD version lacks the PD/MAC planning capability, but that works out fine in my situation. Be sure REI sells you the latest version. It's identified by xxxx.xx.0x with the last two digits specifing the quarter that the s/w was released. Go to the Garmin forum for more info. [@]

Comments about Garmin City Navigator microSD Data Card - North America NT 2012:
Great to be able to add ability to navigate roads via my handheld Montana.
However I made the mistake of buying West Topo map DVD and the City Navigator MicroSD thinking there must be some way to combine the two on my Montana. Wrong!! I now have to swap MicroSD cards every time I want to switch from road to trail use!! I can't believe the newest, most powerful handheld GPS from Garmin doesn't provide some way to combine multiple add-on maps purchased from Garmin. Especially since with a little work I could have gotten equivalent maps for free from other sites.
