        Comments about 100 Hikes in New Mexico - 3rd Edition:

        We bought this book to hike to the San Pedro Wilderness. The written directions were correct until we matched it with a compass, then we find out the "North" compass rose on the map was wrong, it was actually facing east.

        Then we discovered that even though the book was printed the year before, there were numerous errors in the map. A junction that didnt exist, a trail that dead ended and caused us to have to hike 8 miles back the wrong way, the mileage scale is off, and it seems as if the author has never been to the site before.
