by Kellie the skierfromGreat downhill performance! The Shaka really shines for midwinter backcountry skiing when downhill performance is a must . . . It drives a big ski very well, transfers power, and is super solid overall. A bit heavier than some touring boots (that are made for longer tours), the extra weight pays off in extra performance and is totally worth it!
