Comments about Burton Emerald Snowboard Boots - Women's - 2010/2011:

I got these for my girlfriend who is just starting to snowboard. I read a lot of reviews and kept seeing older year model Emeralds running small. She normally wears a 6, so I ordered a 6.5. Good thing I did, they fit snug (the way a snowboard boot should), and she said a 6 would have been too small.

The lacing system is incredible. so easy to use. getting in and out of these boots takes seconds, not minutes, and they seem to lace up to accommodate your foot.

I cant comment on riding performance yet, but wanted to comment on the sizing asap in case anyone else was wondering the same thing about the 2010/2011 model of the emerald boots.

Service and delivery comments:

This was my first order from REI, and I have to say, delivery was lightening fast. I ordered them late Thursday night, and got them Saturday morning.

Comments about Burton Emerald Snowboard Boots - Women's - 2010/2011:

Incredibly comfortable from first use onward. I wore mine around the house to break them in a bit, which I recommend for any new snowboard boots. It took me a minute to figure out the laces, but once you know how they work, they are super easy to use. To tighten the laces, you pull on the upper and lower straps, then you latch them into place, no tying required! AMAZING!! The boots are also comfy to walk around in, which is nice after a long day of boarding for the walk to the car. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.
