Made ultra toasty with a water-resistant, recycled polyester mini-ripstop shell and lightweight, clump-free Thermogreen® synthetic insulation
To reduce bulkiness, sleeve insulation is only 100g versus the 150g of the body
Lidia parka's elegant shirred quilting adds flattering detail; front and rear princess seams provide a contoured fit
High, funnel-style neck protects against cold blasts and can be worn zipped open across the shoulders
2-way front zipper
Handwarmer pockets on the front seams have invisible zippers; an internal zippered security pocket holds valuables

I was very disappointed by this parka. Everything I read about it seemed to make it the ideal coat, but as soon as I put it on I knew I would return it right away. The fit it's far from ideal. It bulks on the wrong areas, I am 5'7", 132 lb, it made me look like a wet dog. The bulk accumulates on the very bottom, close to the knees, the tight fit that it advertises around the waist is completely in the wrong place. Very unappealing coat. The exterior material is too shiny and slippery, not the feel someone would want to wear on a cold winter season. The only advantage I saw is the light weight. I would never suggest this parka to a friend.

I was so excited to get this jacket in the mail. I ripped open the box, took it out of it's plastic, and put it on. As I zipped it up I noticed it cupped my butt in all the wrong places. I was so sad. I looked in the mirror and was disgusted. The jacket fit me in the chest perfectly. The sleeves were a good length, but then the behind problem. Seriously, it was tight around my butt then flared out in a strange way. It's entirely too bubbly. I decided to return it and get the Fiona instead. Fits way better. Too bad because the Lidia is a good looking jacket... on a hanger.

I was looking for a non-down garment (ease of care, etc.). I also wanted something a little dressier and without pit zips!
I tried on the Lidia jacket in the store and thought the stitching in the midsection emphasized my tummy area. The stitching on this parka is more flattering for me.

I ordered the dark green which has a nice toned down gold lining. It is very comfortable and light weight. I usually get a hood but having no hood makes this coat less bulky if I need to pack it.
The collar is a different and I think it will be OK.
Since the weather isn't cold yet I can't test its warmth.

I am happy to add this coat to my wardrobe. It's the usual great Patagonia quality: no stray threads hanging, zippers working well, etc. And I like the finish of the exterior fabric. I bought their Downtown Loft jacket last year in black - and while I like many things about that jacket - the fabric unfortunately seems to attract stuff.

This package came more quickly than I expected. The box was a little battered but the products inside are perfect.

This jacket is really comfortable and attractive. It fits well and seems warm, although I haven't worn it in really cold weather yet. The collar is cozy and the greenlake color is great. It's a wonderful jacket for those of us opposed to down.
