Offering a great mix of traction and flotation, the Atlas 1030 snowshoes work great on rolling terrain and snowy explorations on and off packed trails.

  • Durable frames are crafted from 6061 aluminum to create a stiff yet lightweight chassis
  • Nose and tail shapes are optimized to provide a balanced platform for stable footing and to facilitate an easy, natural stride
  • Spring-Loaded™ Suspension (SLS) uses offset webbing straps to create a springy platform beneath the foot that absorbs impact and allows natural side-to-side foot flex
  • Wrapp™ bindings use a single-pull, continuous webbing design that tightens snugly with a light tug; bindings also cradle feet and arches for a secure, comfortable fit
  • Abrasion-resistant, lightweight Nytex™ nylon decks stay flexible when cold and stand up to the elements for lasting use
  • Steel instep crampons supply sure-footed traction on icy and snowy terrain; heel cleats provide superior downhill traction and parallel side rails secure grip during traverses

    Comments about Atlas 1030 Snowshoes:

    I bought these a few weeks ago and could not be happier with them. At first I though they were okay, but then I put them back on and made sure they were secured and tight and they worked perfectly.

    I have used them very little in straight flat terrain, but a lot of steep and rolling terrain. Work great, great traction.

    Comments about Atlas 1030 Snowshoes:

    I use these to check wind anemometers across the state of Montana during the winter. These snowshoes are light weight and have excellent traction on various terrain and conditions. I will be curious to see how long the straps for the suspension last. The warranty is excellent so I am not worried. These are very easy to get in and out of. Overall, these are a great pair of snowshoes. I use them every other week when the snow flies and am satisfied with their performance.
