Great product for the price! I've done a few treks with the 930s and the only problem i've come across is that they do slip a bit on steep hills. Besides that they float across snow and can be put on with 1 pull of the cord.

I have had the shoes for a couple of months and have used them almost every weekend since in deep, powdery snow on rolling terrain and it has proved to be a very comfortable shoe. They are very easy to put on using the pull of just one strap. Taking them off is a little more work as the buckles are small and have to be held open as you loosen the straps. The back strap does not like to stay below the boot and therefore the step out can be hard.

All in all a great shoe for rolling terrain as advertised. This shoe is not suitable for step assents or descents.

After finally finding good snow in Michigan, my wife and I trekked 5 miles through the woods, up a ridge and back in our Atlas snowshoes. Easy to climb into, simple to use, supportive, with good traction and good quality, these shoes are great. The salesperson was correct when he talked us into these for our first set. My only complaint and all shoes may be this way is the amount of sideways twisting your ankles endure from uneven snow, especially being behind my wife's narrower shoes. This is our new favorite wintertime hobby, if only Mother Nature would give us some more snow.

I was supprised by how well this snowshoe performed. When I purchased them and spoke to an REI expert, i was told they were good for flat terrain only. So first time out we decided to make our own trail up through the woods at a fairly steep pitch. This snowshoe performed excellent. Very stable, did not come off and had great traction. The binding is very simple and secures the boot very well. I'm looking to get a pair for my wife and will certainly look at Atlas once again.
