Used them for day hikes and now wear everyday.
Great fit and comfort with lots of support. Well made with nice leather. Best insole I've ever seen. Waterproof yet seem nice and breathable. The best low-cut multi-sport shoes I've ever worn.

I have had these for a few days and they rock. They are the perfect day hiker, very durable, waterproof, great arch support and comfort that seems to wrap your feet perfect. These are my new favorite shoe and will be great for Seattle in the spring.

Comments about Oboz Gallatin Low Cross-Training Shoes - Men's:
Was looking at Merrell's chameleon, but liked this little company in Montana, and I'm glad I bought these instead. I was looking for an all around trail shoe for backing and day hiking. These are very sturdy, well built and you get what you pay for. I'm glad i spent a little more and got a better product. It is not a boot or a running shoe, but i don't like the feel of hiking books, and don't plan on running with them. As far hiking "shoes" go these are great. The comfort on the in-store fitting was a little stiff when i really laced them tight, especially on the tongue, but after a couple dog walks they really broke in nicely, and are very comfy. I never write reviews but had to share the positive feedback, thanks for reading.

Comments about Oboz Gallatin Low Cross-Training Shoes - Men's:
I suffered severe injuries to both feet, so I had to find a shoe that provided serious support, yet was comfortable enough to wear everyday. I, literally, have worn these shoes from the time I get out of bed until the time I get into bed for the past ten months. I would recommend these shoes to anyone, particularly if they were dealing with plantar faciitas (one of my injuries). I wear them with a custom orthotic. When you put these shoes on, then you'll never buy a cheap shoe again. If you ever injure your feet, then you'll quickly realize that [$] for a pair of shoes is nothing! Spend the money and avoid the injuries. These shoes are nothing short of phenomenal, and they actually look pretty decent with just about anything.

Comments about Oboz Gallatin Low Cross-Training Shoes - Men's:
I bought these because I was looking for a tough waterproof low hiking shoe. After reading the previous reviews I had to have a pair. I was surprised how comfortable they were when I first put them on. I was expecting a stiff shoe that needed a brake in period, not with this shoe. I took them out first time mountain biking in the snow and water and came back with warm dry feet, sold me.

I use these in Arizona. Previous hiking shoes lacked the traction I needed to make it up or down the loose rock in the mountains. These fixed all that. Now I can go where I want without my feet sliding out from under me.

Comments about Oboz Gallatin Low Cross-Training Shoes - Men's:
Within a week, these shoes had given me a blister on the top of one foot, near the base of my big toe. This seemed to be due to a strange fold that occurred in the top of the shoe when flexed while walking. I was debating about whether to return them. Then one of the lacing eyelets tore completely out while tightening the laces. No doubts about returning them then.
