Wore this beauty (screaming yellow version)for the first time as top layer on my club's "Luna-tic" dinner road ride of last month's full moon - a cold, windy night. I stayed nice 'n cozy and had a swell time. Not cheap, but it's high-quality stuff and I expect to get more than my money's worth out of it.

I commute about 15miles and this jacket is great for cold mornings. It keeps me warm and it is breathable. I am normally a size Medium, but I had to get a size Large because I like having a little room. Jacket is very snug. I like the length of the sleeves, a little on the longer side. It would be nice, however, if there was a zipper on the back pocket.

Oh my, I love this jacket so much. I've had traumas trying to find a good winter cycling jacket and have wasted tons of money on gear that just didn't end up as good as expected. My woes ended when I got this.

Advantages: 1. It's windproof, like all Windstopper stuff, but breathable, so a swamp does not develop underneath. 2. It's bright and visible. 3. It's long enough but doesn't come down so far that it bunches around my waist when I ride. 4. Back pockets are open (why do so many winter jackets have closed pockets?). 5. Sleeves are super easy to zip on and off. 6. Flattering cut and styling. 7. Soft shell material moves easily and is not stiff.

But the best part is definitely that there are short jersey sleeves under the long sleeves! That extra little bit of coverage is great and it means that this jacket is suitable for mid-range fall weather when you may not want to wear a whole other jersey underneath.

So far I've worn this down into the low 40s without the sleeves and just a long-sleeved base layer underneath, as well as WITH the sleeves with a sleeveless base layer and arm warmers underneath. I have no doubt that it will perform exceedingly well with additional layers down to the 20s (if I manage to get myself out of the house, that is).

Can't comment on the waterproof-ness as I haven't taken it out in the rain. But seriously, this is an awesome jacket. Highly, highly recommended. One note is that it does run slim so you may consider sizing up if you want to bulk up on the base layers.

One wasn't enough-had to buy the pink for visability after wearing the Black & White one.
Can be worn in a wide variety of temperatures since the sleeves zip off. Have worn it in the rain & I stayed dry.

I use this for long rides--I like that the sleeves come off, but haven't actually done this. I use the pit zips, the back is a nice length when bent over the bike, and the color is screaming yellow, which I wanted. I bought this after reading the men's reviews (same jacket) and boy did they go on and on about the features. I don't like to ride in bad weather so I have no feedback re: waterproof, but know there are no waterproof/breathable jackets. This one has some pores to the fabric & I would rather have the breatheability than the waterproof, which is what I like about this. It's cut well--I got a medium, am 5'4 and 140lbs--it is not tight and not baggy, I like it a lot and think it's worth the money.
