I got this jacket to use on camping and backpacking trips thinking it would be warm and pack down fairly small. It is warm but doesn't pack that small. My main problem and the reason I returned it was after one weekend climbing trip the bottom of the zipper broke making it impossible to zip up. I returned it to REI with out any problems and talked with the sales rep, we decided that although Merrel makes great shoes the clothing is'nt up to par.

The only complaint with this jacket is that you can see the down through the eggshell color. It looks splotchy and dirty when it is really just the down. I thought it had been stained all over when I first saw it. But I loved how warm it was and it fit good.
