The Novara Stratos women's technical bike gloves were designed for cycling in cold, wet and wintery weather.

REI Elements® laminate adds waterproof, windproof qualities to the tough nylon shell while remaining breathable
Polyester insulation delivers protection and warmth; polyester lining wicks away sweat and adds warmth
Women's gloves feature extra insulation
Unique finger/mitt constructions provides the warmth of mittens and the dexterity of gloves
Gauntlet length ensures good coverage over or under jackets; adjusts easily with 1 hand to seal in warmth

I use these for bicycle-commuting and dog-walking. The mitten-glove hybrid design provides both warmth and dexterity. The women's sizing fits my hands better than men's gloves. The extended cuff effectively keeps wind and moisture out of my sleeves.

Comments about Novara Stratos Bike Gloves - Women's:

I bought these when I was looking at a 12 mile ride in 20 degree weather last year. Then I wore them all winter and they saved my fingers! I live in Portland where it's cold and wet. They stayed dry all season.

On the not so great side, these are NOT breathable, so you do need to choose your rides and your weather. I wore them for shorter rides when it was below 50 and was happy to have them. On longer, colder rides, I did find my pinkies got a bit chilly once my hands began to sweat.
