Comments about Pearl Izumi Cyclone Bike Gloves - Women's:

The morning was chilly and windy around 35 degrees. If it was colder I'm not sure these would have been warm enough but they blocked the wind and kept my hands warm. I'm glad I purchased. I road cycle.

Comments about Pearl Izumi Cyclone Bike Gloves - Women's:

I bought these gloves for a bike trip through Tibet and these babies worked great. They didn't get sweaty on the rides up the mt. passes and kept my hands warm on the screaming downhills. A lot of people on the trip had a lot of fancy gear to keep their hands warm, but all I needed was this pair of gloves. Also, people thought they were really cool looking - so looks, smarts, and personality - these gloves have it all.

A friend asked for a pair for Christmas.

Comments about Pearl Izumi Cyclone Bike Gloves - Women's:

Bought these gloves for casual rides on cool mornings. To me that would be down to about 40 degrees. The material is not thick enough to keep hands warm below 50 degrees. They look nice. Did not test them for water proofness.

Comments about Pearl Izumi Cyclone Bike Gloves - Women's:

I have three or four bureau drawers full of gloves, full- and short-fingered, cold- and warm-weather (well, as cold as it ever gets ten miles from Disneyland). Liked these enough to seek out a second pair. Excellent for wind-proofiness. (can't speak to water-proofiness 'cause if that's the weather, the bike stays in the garage). Seem to breathe out the sweat just fine and don't get clammy. Good grip on the brakes/shifters. What's not to like ?

Comments about Pearl Izumi Cyclone Bike Gloves - Women's:

Was very pleased with fit, ability to still do things with my hands with them on, however my main concern was keeping my hands warm during winter training rides in rainy seattle weather in 40+ degree temps. By the end of the 13+/- mile ride, hands were damp and cold, could still feel the wind even at the beginning of the ride. Pro, my hands never over heated even while climbing hills. Also tried using them for running and had same issues. In summary, probably good for shoulder seasons where it is not as cold or wet.

I love full finger gloves, wear them all the time, summer - winter. And these gloves are now my favorite. Rode with them 60 miles. drizzling-wet-cold,
my hands were warm and dry.

Comments about Pearl Izumi Cyclone Bike Gloves - Women's:

I love the firm but flexible fit. I thought they'd be warmer, drier, and good for the coolest part of fall. They do wick sweat, but they also absorb dampness in even the lightest rain and are hardly warm. They seem slow to dry. They always feel kind of damp and moist.

I was looking for something to transition between my fall layers (fingerless padded Pearl Izumi leather gloves + medium weight Smartwool gloves underneath) and my cozy Novarra lobster claw gloves. These are NOT it, though they'd be an all right replacement for the fall layers I already own.
